The Georgia Trauma Foundation stands as a dedicated guardian of the state’s trauma system, driven by a commitment to saving lives and mitigating injury risks. Trauma doesn’t discriminate, cutting across all age groups as a leading cause of death, particularly among those under 45. Since our inception in 2013, we’ve focused on transforming Georgia into a bastion of safety and emergency readiness, investing in educational initiatives and advanced training for medical professionals.

A trauma system is a structured framework designed to deliver efficient and effective care to the injured. It’s a collaborative network that must function seamlessly to save lives.

Such a system serves the entire community; no one is beyond the reach of unexpected harm. Consider Ashley, whose routine drive to see her parents took a dramatic turn, or Brooklyn, whose shift delivering pizzas ended in crisis. Both their stories underscore the crucial role a well-coordinated trauma system plays. Thanks to the prompt response of emergency services and the continuum of care that followed, Ashley and Brooklyn are with us today to recount their experiences.

The aim of the Georgia Trauma Foundation is to uphold this caliber of care universally across Georgia. Collaborating with medical personnel from various disciplines, our mission is to ensure access to superior trauma care, regardless of one’s location within the state. We are entirely reliant on public generosity to sustain these lifesaving efforts.

We guarantee that every donation is allocated directly to our life-preserving programs. Your contribution is more than a gift—it’s a partnership in our relentless quest to enhance Georgia’s trauma system. Join us in this vital mission. Your support is pivotal in helping us to make an enduring impact. Thank you for your decision to donate today.
