Equip Schools with Bleeding Control Kits and Help Save Lives!

The Georgia Gives event may have ended, but the mission continues — and your support is still needed. Donations are still being accepted to help equip even more Georgia schools with bleeding control kits.

In any school, emergencies can happen at any time. From playground accidents to sports injuries, and even unexpected medical conditions, having the right tools on hand can make all the difference. This initiative aims to equip schools with bleeding control kits, also referred to as stop-the-bleed kits, ensuring that students, teachers, and staff are prepared to respond swiftly and effectively to any traumatic bleeding incident.

Schools–teachers, staff, and students–are also provided with instruction and various levels of training on how to use the kits.

Bleeding control kits are a crucial part of emergency preparedness. In situations where severe bleeding occurs (whether from accidents or violent incidents) time is critical, as uncontrolled bleeding can lead to death within minutes. By equipping schools with kits, we ensure that lifesaving care can begin before emergency responders arrive.

The kits contain easy-to-use tools, such as tourniquets, gauze, and pressure bandages, that can be quickly applied, even by those with minimal training. Each kit includes step-by-step illustrated instructions to help control severe bleeding.

By supporting this initiative, you are helping to create a safer environment for our children and educators. You are putting lifesaving tools into the hands of those who need them the most. You are directly contributing to saving lives.
Although the Georgia Gives event has ended, the need has not.

Join us in making our schools safer. Together, we can ensure that every school is ready to handle emergencies and protect our most valuable assets — our children.

We are still accepting donations to help place more bleeding control kits in Georgia schools. It’s not too late to support this life-saving cause.

Donate today and help us continue placing kits where they’re needed most.
