Jeff Myers has made significant contributions to the healthcare landscape in northwest Georgia through his leadership at Hamilton Health Care System and Hamilton Medical Center. His tenure as President and CEO, since 2010, has been marked by substantial growth and development in the region’s healthcare services, including the establishment of residency programs and the opening of specialized institutes (Hamilton’s Peeples Cancer Institute, Anna Shaw Children’s Institute and Hamilton’s Cardiovascular Institute). His efforts have not only enhanced medical care but also addressed housing needs for healthcare workers, demonstrating a comprehensive approach to community development.
With a background that spans various leadership roles in healthcare management and consulting, Jeff’s extensive experience has been a driving force behind the expansion and innovation at Hamilton. His involvement in local and state healthcare boards, along with his active participation in community development initiatives, reflects a deep commitment to improving the well-being of the community he serves. Jeff’s leadership style, influenced by his father’s dedication to the pharmacy industry, underscores the importance of continual improvement and a holistic view of healthcare’s role in society.
Jeff is a member of Georgia Alliance of Community Hospitals Board, HealthOne Alliance Board, Alliant Health Plans Board, and Georgia Health Select Board. In early 2023, he became Past Chair of Vizient Southern States Board of Directors, and he completed his service on the Georgia Hospital Association Board. Jeff serves with local groups including Believe Greater Dalton Economic Development and the Dalton Rotary Club.
