Teri Anulewicz

Director

Teri Anulewicz is a dedicated public servant whose career spans nearly twenty years in Georgia’s municipal and state government. First elected to the Smyrna City Council in 2007, she served three terms and was appointed mayor pro tem in 2016. In 2017, she joined the Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 42 and serving through 2024. Her work on the Appropriations, Transportation, Code Revision, and Intragovernmental Coordination committees helped shape key policies across the state.

Throughout her tenure, Teri held leadership roles including Deputy Whip of the House Democratic Caucus, Vice Chair of the Cobb County Legislative Delegation, and Treasurer of the Women’s Legislative Caucus. She was an advocate for transportation infrastructure, arts standards, and public health initiatives.

A graduate of Agnes Scott College with a degree in International Relations, Teri’s professional experience spans public affairs and coalition development, underscored by a commitment to civic engagement. Her service includes board memberships, caucus affiliations, and nonprofit leadership. She is the recipient of numerous community honors, including Cobb Life Magazine’s “20 In Their 40s,” the Atlanta Bicycle Coalition’s “Gold Dome Award,” and recognition from Catholic Charities and the YWCA of Northwest Georgia.
