Trauma Awareness Month – May
The American Trauma Society works with other trauma organizations to develop injury prevention and trauma awareness materials for use in communities. Each year, a new focus is designated which relates to injury prevention and raising trauma awareness. Previous campaign themes have included: Drunk Driving, Teen Driving, School Violence, Sports Injuries, and Safety at Home.
